Threading: Threading involves using a thin, organic cotton thread to remove unwanted hair from the root. The thread is twisted and rolled over the skin, catching individual hairs and pulling them out. This technique is especially popular for shaping eyebrows because it provides a clean, defined shape and can be more precise than waxing or tweezing or shaving.

        Know Our Threading Procedures:

  • Preparation: The brow area is cleaned, and the technician may outline the desired shape of the eyebrows.

  • Twisting the Thread: Esthetician uses a cotton thread, which is held between the hands and twisted in a particular way. The twisted thread is rolled over the skin, which traps and pulls out hairs from the follicle.

  • Shaping the Brows: Esthetician  works methodically to remove hairs along the natural brow line, often removing hair from the top, bottom, and between the brows to create a defined shape as client requested

  • Finishing Touches: After the hair is removed, the technician may clean up the area with a soothing lotion or aloe gel as customer needed.

        After Treatment:

  • Cool Compress: Apply a cool, damp cloth to reduce redness for sensitive skin and calm the area as needed.

  • Moisturize Gently: Use a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe vera gel to soothe the skin..

  • Avoid Touching or Scratching: Refrain from touching the area.

  • Skip Makeup and Harsh Products: Avoid makeup, exfoliants, and any products with active ingredients (like acids or retinoids) on the treated area for 24 hours.

  • Sun Protection: If you're going outside, apply a gentle sunscreen to protect the area, as newly threaded skin can be more sensitive to UV rays for sensitive skin only.

  • Avoid Picking or Plucking: Let the hair grow out naturally until your next appointment to avoid irritation and maintain the results of your threading.

        Benefits:

  • Precise and Detailed: Threading technique is very precise and can remove fine, short hairs that may be difficult to tweeze or wax. It's good for shaping smaller areas like the upper lip, chin, and jawline.

  • Less Irritation: Since threading only involves the hair and not the surrounding skin, it can be less irritating than waxing, making it a good option for sensitive skin types.

  • No Chemicals or Heat: Like eyebrow threading, facial threading doesn’t require any heat or chemicals, which makes it a great alternative to waxing for people with allergies or sensitive skin.

  • Natural Results: Since the technique is more targeted, threading can leave the skin feeling smoother and hair-free without the risk of skin peeling or redness that can sometimes happen with waxing.
